Blue Blast Premium Ice Melter
Blue Blast Premium Ice MelterThis product blends Louisiana rock salt, liquid magnesium chloride with corrosion inhibitor, and Gunther’s Blue Dye formula. Effective down to -5° F, it’s especially useful for clearing passageways in parking lots, sidewalks, and other walkways with high pedestrian traffic. It’s designed to reduce wear and tear on equipment and the blue dye allows users to easily see where the product has and hasn’t been spread to reduce over-application. It’s available in 50# bags.
Heat Blast Premium Ice Melter
This product has been a bestseller for Gunther since it was introduced in 2008. Featuring a unique blend of magnesium chloride, potassium chloride, and sodium chloride, Heat Blast is a cost-effective, aggressive ice melt product that is less harmful to grass and shrubs because it contains two fertilizers. It’s accelerating melting capabilities allow for lower application rates than a typical salt product, and you won’t need to reallocate that time to cleaning. It’s designed to prevent tracking, keeping your lobby area clean and pet friendly. It’s also effective down to -5° F and comes in 25# or 50# bags.
Premium Rock Salt
Gunther was the first company to ship Louisiana rock salt into St. Louis, and it continues to be the cleanest and easiest ice control salt to spread. It comes in 25# or 50# bags and is screened before packaging to ensure it will flow smoothly out of spreaders. This is the safest and most inexpensive product for tackling ice buildup. The purer the salt, the more effective. This product hits the mark at a 98.6% typical pure salt standard.

Calcium Chloride Pellets (25# or 50# bags) can melt snow and ice in temperatures as low as -25° F. It’s an ideal product for fighting re-freezing in extremely low temperatures.
Magnesium Chloride Pellets (50# bags) will get the job done in temperatures as low as -15° F. It’s a non-toxic product that comes close to the melting power of calcium chloride, without harming vegetation.
Road Runner Ice Melt (10# bags) is an economical product blending sodium chloride, magnesium chloride, and calcium chloride in an ergonomically safe bag size for easy handling. It features the strong melting power of three chlorides and requires fewer applications to knock out troublesome ice.
